DOCK ROCK  SML was created by two industry professionals who longed to do real radio again.  Radio the way it used to be before corporate entities took over and made every radio station ,in every market sound the same.  

Dock Rock Smith Mountain Lake plays the feel good music you grew up with. Our playlist features thousands of songs primarily focused on the 70’s and 80’s but you will occasionally hear some more modern decades too.  You will also learn about events and happenings taking place right here in the region. You will also hear from local businesses who can actually afford to share their message on a truly local radio  station.  Finally, Dock Rock SML is a station created by real people who live in your community.  Not an AI bot or a voice out of the West Coast.  We are your neighbors and friends and we love where we live in Virginia.
